The advocacy briefs for Member States highlight the impact of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on health and call for action across sectors and society to mitigate its impact. They highlight the challenges posed by AMR, share achievements, and share lessons learned. Controlling AMR and preserving antimicrobial medicines requires commitment from professionals, patients, politicians, the public, civil society, and the private sector. AMR makes antibiotics ineffective and infections increasingly difficult to treat.
